Standard, beauty-led microneedling typically uses basic serums (like hyaluronic acid) and follows a one-size-fits-all approach. My treatments go further, combining professional-grade actives (exosomes, PDRN, or targeted brightening formulas) with the same precision and sterile technique I bring to medical tattooing. Each facial is also bookended by a thorough double cleanse and finished with cold hammer therapy (cryo) Treatments are also tailored to what your skin actually needs, not a generic package. It's designed to sit above a typical spa facial, offering more advanced, clinically-informed results.
If I want anti-ageing, how do I choose between PDRN (Salmon DNA) and Exosomes?
Both are excellent anti-ageing options, but they work slightly differently: PDRN (Salmon DNA) focuses on deep cellular repair, it's ideal if your priority is rebuilding skin health from within, improving elasticity, texture and resilience over time. Think of it as restoring the skin's foundations. Exosomes are the most advanced option I offer, accelerating cellular communication and collagen production for more visible firming and regeneration. This facial also includes EMS micro-current facial sculpting, so it's a great choice if you want both anti-ageing skin benefits and a lifted, toned jawline in the same session.
How long does the session take, and what's the aftercare and downtime?
Sessions typically take around 45-70 mins dependent on which option you choose. Downtime is generally minimal, you may notice some redness or sensitivity for around 2-3 days - similar to a mild sunburn. Aftercare - avoid makeup for 48 hours, keeping the skin clean and hydrated with simple moisteriser. Avoid direct sun exposure or active ingredients like retinol for 2 weeks. How to Prepare for Your Treatment
Pause active skincare such as retinoids, AHAs, and BHAs for 3–5 days before your appointment to avoid irritation Protect your skin from the sun - avoid tanning and sun exposure, and wear SPF daily in the lead-up to treatment Stay hydrated - drink plenty of water in the days before, to help your skin get the most from the treatment Avoid blood thinners — steer clear of alcohol and blood-thinning medications or supplements (unless medically necessary) for 24–48 hours before Arrive fresh-faced — come with clean skin, free from makeup and skincare products
